White Rock Lake in Dallas, Texas USA

White Rock Lake lies in southwest Dallas, Texas, about ten miles from downtown. It is one of Dallas' most popular outdoor attractions. This lake is an artificially created body of water that is drained to the Trinity River and the surrounding lakes and streams. White Rock Lake, located in Dallas, Texas, is the second-largest lake in Dallas, after Lake Clark. White Rock Lake has two lakes, each with its own unique features. At one end of the lake, you will find Lake Wylie, where fishing is abundant year-round. Fishing can be done on either flat or sandy areas in the lake. At this end of the lake, a staff photographer will take photographs while you fish. Some areas of the lake will also have boat launches for small pleasure crafts. Another popular area of the lake is the Fish House Park, which is on the opposite end of the lake.
